Today, ZAO Raiffeisenbank's Kuban network bank celebrated its third birthday.
Raiffeisenbank opened its first branch in the Southern Federal District in Krasnodar on 22 June 2006. A while later, the Kuban network bank headed ZAO Raiffeisenbank's Southern Regional Centre, which comprises the bank offices in Krasnodar, Sochi, Anapa, Novorossiysk, Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Stavropol, Essentuki, Volgograd, and Volzhskiy.
Director of the network branch and of the Southern Regional Centre Natalya Gribkova commented, «Over three years of operations, the Kuban network bank has achieved impressive results. The bank has invested more than 10 billion roubles in Krasnodar Region's economy. In 2008, the bank arranged a 1.5 billion rouble bonded loan for the Administration of Krasnodar Territory. Since Raiffeisen began operations in Krasnodar Territory, the region's consolidated budget has increased by more than 200 million roubles in tax payments. Raiffeisenbank now provides employment for 700 specialists in the Southern Federal Region. Because we have our own Learning Centre, bank employees have the opportunity to constantly raise their professional qualifications, which cannot but have an effect on the level of service and client satisfaction.»
Today, the Kuban network bank is one of the most promising and profitable of the bank's subdivisions. The successful 2007 merger with OAO Impexbank and the opening of new offices in 2008 allowed the bank to expand its presence and offer its services to clients in several new cities simultaneously. The bank is currently represented by 14 offices in the Southern Federal District.
ZAO Raiffeisenbank's Kuban network bank's assets come to over 7 billion roubles. According to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation's main Krasnodar Territory headquarters, Raiffeisenbank is the fourth-largest bank in the Krasnodar Territory in terms of credit portfolio for legal entities among extra-regional network banks, fifth-largest in terms of asset size, and sixth-largest in terms of credit portfolio for individuals.
The network bank’s private client base is more than 33,000. More than 70 ATMs are located in Krasnodar Territory. Kuban's large corporations, retail chains, and energy companies are clients of the bank.
The bank has been thanked for its assistance in the implementation of the construction projects of large retail and entertainment centre Sem Zvezd, the Ashan and Leroi-Merlin hyper-markets and been awarded degrees and letters of thanks for its active participation in international economic and investment forums, conferences, and presentations for foreign investors.
ZAO Raiffeisenbank is a subsidiary of Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG. Raiffeisenbank is ranking 9th in terms of assets among the Russian banks based on 1Q 2009 results (Interfax-CEA). According to Interfax-CEA, ZAO Raiffeisenbank ranked 4th in Russia in terms of private deposits and 6th in consumer lending in Russia based on 1Q 2009 results.
