Raiffeisen CONNECT Internet-bank passed the mark of 100,000 customers.

The Internet-bank system was introduced in ZAORaiffeisenbank Austria in 2003.

In March 2006 the bank set a new version of Raiffeisen CONNECT ( operation, thereby enlarging the scope of functionality for remotebank servicing.

As of 1st September, 2006 the number of Raiffeisen CONNECT customerspassed the 100,000 mark.

Every day in average 150 clients get registered in the system, 10,000 to15,000 users enter the system and 500 active transactions are executed primarily, ruble payments and internal transfers.

100 000 customers in the Internet-bank system is a significant result that we are fairly proud of. Raiffeisen CONNECT is actually a very convenient and easy-to-use resource, and we are glad that our customers have appreciated its capabilities and use them extensively. Raiffeisenbank offers the clients a high proficiency level of remote servicing, and we intend to keep on track, - commented Johann Jonach, CEO of ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria.

Remote service capabilities for Raiffeisenbank customers servicingconstantly develop and improve. In July, 2006 a new service wasintroduced in Raiffeisen CONNECT customer information on unit investment funds of Management Company Raiffeisen Capital. In the future the following services are planed to be rolled-out:

  • on-line settlement of bills from mobile operators and utility payments;
  • special version of Internet-bank for pocket personal computer users;
  • export of statements in MS Money, Quicken, Excel formats;
  • brokers account management;
  • management of unit investment funds of MCRaiffeisen Capital.

In 2005 ZAORaiffeisenbank Austria was presented with Best Consumer Internet-bank Award from Global Finance magazine. The Austrian Banking Group Raiffeisen was named as the winner of this award for the ninth time in succession.
