On December 25 Kuban Branch of ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria took part inthe New Year’s sports party"Kuban Olympic Hopes" held in the center ofculture and entertainment“Europe”. The Olympic party in honor of the best sportsmen and trainers of Krasnodar Krai of the year 2006 was arranged by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Krasnodar Krai. The event was accompanied by a fashion show, a concert and congratulations ofthe sportsmen.
Ludmila Chernova, Director of the Department of Physical Education andSports of Krasnodar Krai, track and field Olympian championess,remarked:"The aim of this event is to promote sport, healthy life styleand honoring the outstanding sportsmen of Kuban– our Olympic champions, World and Europe champions, honored masters of sports and trainers – for their contribution to the development of sports in Krasnodar Krai and Russia on the whole."
In the framework of the event nine Olympic champions and eight Worldchampions were congratulated by ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria and wereawarded with gifts and certificates for Raiffeisenbank credit cards VISAGold and VISA Classic. The Bank officers explained the advantages of thecredit cards with a grace period of up to 50 days, including thepossibility for their owners to participate in the programme"Discountsfor You", and also explained to the sportsmen the conditions for gettingcredit cards.
