Yesterday evening, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Osterreich AG (RZB) and itsCEE-subsidiary Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG received theaward"Best Bank in Central and Eastern Europe" during a reception ofthe renowned British financial magazine Euromoney in London. At the sametime, the Network Banks in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia andSlovakia received awards as"Best Bank" in their country. RaiffeisenInvestment AG was elected as"Best Investment Bank in Montenegro".
The RZB Group won the prize for the CEE-region already for the thirdconsecutive time. Altogether, Raiffeisen received the regional"Euromoney Award for Excellence" for the fourth time after 1999, 2005and 2006. The Euromoney-editors based their decision on the expansion ofall business segments and the leading position in the Commonwealth ofIndependent States (CIS). Following the awards of The Banker in autumn2006 and Global Finance this spring, the Euromoney-award is the thirdimportant appreciation by international media in a row for the RZB Group.

Best Bank in Albania
Also for the third consecutive time, Raiffeisen Bank Sh.a. went homewith the title"Best Bank in Albania". The bank was acquired byRaiffeisen International in 2004 and is Albania''s largest bank with abalance-sheet total of 1.8 billion euros (as at 31 March 2007).
Best Bank in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Raiffeisen Bank d.d. Bosna i Hercegovina won the local"Best Bank" awardas in 2006. It is the country''s largest bank with a market share of morethan 21 per cent.
Best Bank in Serbia
Raiffeisen banka a.d., Belgrade, is again setting a benchmark, havingreceived the prize"Best Bank in Serbia" for the sixth consecutive time.Having started operations in mid-2001, the bank has been leading thelocal market already since late 2004.
Best Bank in Slovakia
Tatra banka a.s was chosen as"Best Bank in Slovakia". Founded in 1991,it is today the third-largest bank both in Slovakia and the RaiffeisenInternational Group.
Best Investment Bank in Montenegro
Vienna-based Raiffeisen Investment AG (RIAG) was honoured as"BestInvestment Bank in Montenegro".
